Dance Bios

Richard and Laurie Collett are ballroom dance champions, performers, adjudicators, and owners of the Rhapsody Ballroom, Tampa. They are US Amateur National and World Open Theatrical and Cabaret Champions, Professional Triple Crown Champions, and World Professional Exhibition finalists.

Their innovative choreography, showy style, and dramatic portrayals of entertaining themes have led to TV appearances and solo performances throughout the US, Europe, and Asia.

Richard is a real estate manager and retired Navy Chief, and Laurie retired from neurology and is now a full-time medical writer for WebMD and others.

We dance for the audience of One, to His glory. Dance is the most intimate and personal art form, using the human body as the instrument of expression to reflect the soul with every movement.
